I gave the heavens the biggest eye-roll ever when I spotted the charger. Yup, you guessed it, it’s magnetic. If you put it somewhere you’re not gonna knock it it’s not too bad, but it isn’t the strongest connection ever.
Now, the B-Vibe Triplet Beads themselves are lovely. They’re made from the smoothest black silicone and feel silky and seamless to the touch. I was initially worried that they might be a bit on the small side, but they’re actually a really nice size. If you’re accustomed to fingers and plugs already, these won’t be too much of a stretch.
They measure up at 5.5 inches from base to tip, with an insertable length of 4.75 inches. Three booty popping beads make up the shaft, from the tapered, easily insertable lead bead with a 2.5 inch circumference, through the 3 inch middle bead, to the 3.5 inch circumference ooh maker.
There’s a centimetre gap between each bead, so the stretch of one doesn’t blend into the other. The anal opening can be felt widening and closing around each one, making for some toe curling sensations before you even switch on the vibes.
You have two choices here: using the beads on their own, or with the remote. Either way, start by holding the single button down until the LED light flashes. You just turned off the travel lock. Next, press that button quickly, just the once, and when the light starts to blink steadily, your beads will be on standby. To use the beads only, you just need to start pressing that button until you find something you like. With fifteen modes to choose from, there’s a good chance there’ll be something for you.
There are cons to using the B-Vibe Triplet manually. Firstly, and most obvious, is the changing of the modes. Lube is slippery, and not many people can see their own butt holes. It’s hard to get a grip on the base and press that button with wet fingers, so it’s best to have a friendly helper.
Thing is, if you have a friendly helper, it’d be more fun to give them the remote. It’s a battery operated one so you might have to go manual if you don’t have a change, but if you can use it I would say do so.
When the beads are on standby, just tap the ON button in the centre of the remote and away you go. You can scroll through those same fifteen modes you get on manual, but as an added bonus you get to choose from six intensities. When it’s on low it’s silent, and when it’s on high it’s still quite quiet unless you’re sitting on something hard.
